About Eudaia

Eudaimonia - 'the state of having a good spirit' / 'human flourishing'

The practice came a long time before the name Eudaia.

It began as a program of exercises I had created from various somatic and coaching modalities to overcome my own obstacles, and shifted to a practice I wanted to share to help others.

For a long time, I watched other people pursue work they cared about and assumed they were simply a different kind of person. More confident. More willing, or in a better position, to take risks. I believed there was something they had that I didn’t.

I would come to realise that belief was just that: a belief. A story that felt so true I had built parts of my life around it. And if I had unconsciously written that story, then I could consciously write what happens next.

That realisation sits at the heart of Eudaia.

The name comes from Aristotle’s concept of eudaimonia, written more than 2,300 years ago. It is also a tribute to my late father, whose fascination with the human pursuit of life's meaning led him to write Eudaimonia: Happiness is Not Enough, an exploration of how this ancient philosophy might be applied in contemporary life.

For Aristotle, eudaimonia was about living well. Not simply feeling happy, but building a life of meaning, purpose and human flourishing through the choices we make and the way we live. Eudaia takes inspiration from that philosophy and brings it into the present.

For me, living well means knowing what genuinely matters to you and having the courage to live authentically, in a way that reflects it. Not somebody else’s definition of success. Not the life you think you should want. Yours.

Eudaia is the framework I use to help you understand the beliefs that have shaped your choices, so you can make more conscious decisions about who you want to be and where you want to go.

About Mish

Training and study across Life Coaching and other Personal Development & Wellbeing practices has provided me with certifications that will tell you how I came to be a practitioner in this field. But not why.

I'm here because I've lived it. I know what it's like to feel stuck in a version of yourself, of your life, that isn't who or what you envisaged.

I have spent more years than I prefer to count trapped in cycles of people-pleasing and self-abandonment—believing I had to be someone else to be worthy of love and approval. I found myself in work and relationships that looked fine on the surface but left me disconnected, unfulfilled, and stuck in patterns of self-sabotage, believing that I was fundamentally flawed.

It wasn't until the friction between the person I supressed and the person I was living erupted into a falling apart of sorts, that I began to sift through the debris and understand what had happened. This led me on a decade-long exploration into what shapes the way we interpret and respond to our individual experience of being human, and how we can unbind ourselves from the self-made obstacles that hold us back from becoming our potential.

That curiosity led to a deep understanding of our uniqueness, and our sameness. It empowered my own growing, to a place I could begin to make choices that align with who I am. Without apology.

Eudaia is one of those choices. It exists so I can help you do the same.
